Motorcycle Meet on the Baltic Sea Beach

The Biker-Treff Mönchgut combines two worlds that fit well together in the Vorpommern-Rügen region: the sense of home of the Mönchgut peninsula, one of the most culturally and historically rich areas of Rügen island, and the open atmosphere of the motorcycle community. The venue is the Kurpavillon on the Bernsteinpromenade in Göhren, with a direct view of the sea and the 280-meter-long pier of the Baltic Sea resort.

Mönchgut: Tradition and Sea

Mönchgut, the southeastern peninsula of Rügen, is a biosphere reserve and known for its traditional costumes, typical thatched-roof houses, and rocky cliffs. The fact that a motorcycle meet has found a firm place here shows how much the event is intended as a family festival by the Göhren spa administration: not a loud stunt event, but a communal weekend where bikers, locals, and holidaymakers celebrate together.

Organizers and Atmosphere

The Biker-Treff is organized by the Kurverwaltung Ostseebad Göhren (Poststraße 9). Admission is free, families are explicitly welcome, and the concept is deliberately accessible: those without a motorcycle can simply walk over from the promenade. The Mönchguter Biker-Treff thus stands alongside similar open-air gatherings in northern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, yet retains its own unique character thanks to its maritime location.
