Bierköste Neumünster — Craft Beer Festival

A Craft Beer Stage in the North

The Bierköste is the newest of Neumünster's established city festivals — and the only one dedicated entirely to craft beer. The organizer is the Citymanagement Neumünster, which curates the format together with Bierzirkus, the Hamburg craft beer collective. Since its premiere in 2023, the Bierköste has become firmly established — the 2026 edition is the 4th edition.

Who's Participating

At the festival grounds at Kleinflecken, around 15 breweries from all over Northern Germany will be present, as well as international guest breweries from the Netherlands and Sweden. A total of over 50 different handmade beers will be available — from classic Pils and Helles to IPAs, Stouts, Sour beers, and specialties like Bock beer and Rauchbier.

• DJ sets and live music in the festival tent area

Tickets and Admission

Advance sale €8 (valid until April 26th), box office €10 — including tasting glass. VIP packages with admission for both days, a goodie bag, a €15 craft beer shop voucher, festival socks, and a tasting card are available in limited quantities. On Sunday (open shopping Sunday in Neumünster), admission is free.

Neumünster — The Largest City in the District

Neumünster is a district-free city in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, with around 80,000 inhabitants, it is one of the largest cities in the state after Kiel, Lübeck, and Flensburg. Its location between Hamburg and Kiel, directly on the A7 motorway, makes Neumünster an important hub. The Bierköste at Kleinflecken — a central square in the city center — has been one of the city's magnet events since its introduction in 2023.
