65th edition of the largest caravan and leisure fair in Saarland — five days in the Blumengarten
When the first motorhomes roll into the Blumengarten on the last weekend of April, the travel year begins for many people in Saarland. The Bexbach Fair has been the most important destination for camping, caravanning, and motorhomes since 1961 — one of the oldest and most traditional leisure fairs in Southwest Germany. The 65th edition in 2026 honours this history with the motto „From Tarpaulin to Vanlife — 65 Years of Camping Fascination“.
On the extensive fairgrounds in the Blumengarten, around 100 exhibitors present their products: motorhomes, caravans, vans, tents, accessories for every stage of travel and life. In addition, there are vehicles from car manufacturers, with a special focus on sustainable mobility (e-mobility, hybrid, hydrogen). Tourism providers from Saarland and the greater region showcase their travel destinations.
Several special events make the 2026 fair more than just a sales show:
The patronage has been taken over by Minister President Anke Rehlinger — an indication of the fair's importance for Saarland. Official partners are the ADAC Saarland e.V. and the Saarland Tourism Centre. The fair is organised by the town of Bexbach itself.
Bexbach is located in the Saarpfalz district, in southeastern Saarland, between Homburg and Neunkirchen, on the edge of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve. The town, with around 18,000 inhabitants, has been an important event location since the 1960s — the Blumengarten, a former state garden show site, is one of the most beautiful park fairgrounds in Germany.
The 65th anniversary edition of the Bexbach Fair celebrates 65 years of camping fascination. Five days of motorhomes, caravans, vans, outdoor equipment, and sustainable mobility in the Blumengarten. Patron: Minister President Anke Rehlinger.
