Munich Runs
Since 2006, B2Run Munich has been the corporate run of Bavaria's state capital. With over 30,000 participants from 1,600+ companies, the 2025 edition (also Munich's 20th anniversary race) was a record run. The organizer is B2Run GmbH, which organizes corporate runs in 17 German cities.
The Olympic Park as a Backdrop
The course is a tribute to the city's Olympic past: start in the area of the Olympic Mountain, route along the Olympic Lake, past the iconic tent roof by Frei Otto and Günter Behnisch (architecture of the 1972 Games). From 2026, the new finish line will be in the Parkharfe – an open green space in the heart of the park – instead of the Olympic Stadium as before. The approximately 6 km long route is flat and suitable for beginners, walkers, and experienced runners.
More Than a Run
B2Run sees itself as an experience: Before the start, there is networking, music, catering, and sponsor stands in the B2Run Village. During the run, DJs and moderators along the route create the atmosphere. After the run, the Village celebrates with live music – one of Munich's largest after-work events.
Participation
Companies, clubs, authorities, and solo runners without a team can register. The entry fee (as of 2025: around €35–40 per person) covers the bib number, functional shirt, on-course refreshments, and finish line catering. Solo runners are recorded in a separate ranking.
Significance for Bavaria
B2Run Munich is one of Bavaria's largest corporate sports events and a symbol of the corporate health boom. BMW, Allianz, Siemens, Erdgas München, BBV-Versicherung, and many medium-sized companies from the greater Munich area regularly send hundreds of employees to the start.
