B2Run Dillingen/Saar — Company Run

Run where the Saarland makes steel

The B2Run Dillingen/Saar is the Saarland stop of the nationwide B2Run company run series. Organized by B2Run GmbH, the run invites companies, authorities, and clubs once a year to complete a 5.3-kilometer course through Dillingen/Saar in the district of Saarlouis with their employees.

A course with character

What's special about the Dillingen course: it leads through the Hüttenstadt. Dillingen has been the site of Dillinger Hütte, one of Europe's largest heavy plate manufacturers, since the 17th century. The course runs through the city center and around the plant area — industrial culture as a running backdrop, as you'll only find in the Saarland.

Team building instead of best times

Unlike a classic public run, B2Run focuses not on personal best times, but on the shared experience. Companies register teams, wear matching jerseys, and celebrate together at the finish line with live music, catering, and winner medals. There are still rankings — the fastest team, the largest, the most creative, the fastest mixed team.

B2Run has been active in over a dozen German cities for over 15 years. Main sponsors are DAK, Erdinger Alkoholfrei, artiva sports, and Europa Versicherungen. In Dillingen, local partners Stadt Dillingen and Dillinger Hütte are added.
