Once a year, Dillingen transforms into a 5.3-kilometer race track: at B2Run, employees of Saarland companies run together through the Hüttenstadt — past the historic plant facilities of Dillinger Hütte. Not a competition, but team building with moderation, music, and networking stations at the finish line.

The B2Run Dillingen 2026 will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026. 5.3 kilometers through the Dillinger Hüttenstadt for company teams, individual runners, and walkers. Registration deadline: July 15, 2026.

As in previous years, the B2Run Dillingen 2026 starts in the late afternoon — typical B2Run, allowing participants to arrive after work. Before the run, there's a warm-up phase with moderation and music, after which the teams start in groups. After the run, the finish area transforms into a networking zone with catering and a live program.

Getting There

By train to Dillingen (Saar) — RB from Saarbrücken in 20 minutes. By car via the A8 (exit Dillingen/Saarlouis). There will be road closures around the course during the run.

What you need

Sports clothing and running shoes. The official running jersey can be optionally ordered through the organizers. Changing rooms and showers are available in the finish area.

Run where the Saarland makes steel

The B2Run Dillingen/Saar is the Saarland stop of the nationwide B2Run company run series. Organized by B2Run GmbH, the run invites companies, authorities, and clubs once a year to complete a 5.3-kilometer course through Dillingen/Saar in the district of Saarlouis with their employees.

A course with character

What's special about the Dillingen course: it leads through the Hüttenstadt. Dillingen has been the site of Dillinger Hütte, one of Europe's largest heavy plate manufacturers, since the 17th century. The course runs through the city center and around the plant area — industrial culture as a running backdrop, as you'll only find in the Saarland.

Team building instead of best times

Unlike a classic public run, B2Run focuses not on personal best times, but on the shared experience. Companies register teams, wear matching jerseys, and celebrate together at the finish line with live music, catering, and winner medals. There are still rankings — the fastest team, the largest, the most creative, the fastest mixed team.
