Spring Start in the Industrial Town
The Dillinger Frühlingskirmes is the first major funfair of the year in the Saarlouis district – and thus a sign that the Saarland winter is over. Four days on the Dillingen fairground, with carousels, showman stalls, culinary stands, and a relaxed family audience.

Dillingen as a Festival City
With just under 21,000 inhabitants, Dillingen is one of the largest towns in the Saarlouis district and is primarily known for the Dillinger Hütte (heavy plate manufacturer). The town maintains a busy event calendar: Spring funfair in March, Hüttenfest in summer, B2Run in August, Advent market in December.
Family Audience
Unlike some large funfairs, the Frühlingskirmes Dillingen is clearly family-oriented. Children aged two to twelve will find their own little world here, and there are reduced carousel prices on Family Day.
