Art in a Historic Setting

ARTkronach takes place in the former synagogue of Kronach, a building with a special history in the Upper Franconian district of Kronach. The exhibition venue on Johann-Nikolaus-Zitter-Straße provides a dignified and atmospheric setting for the art fair.

A Platform for Regional Art

The exhibition is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Regional Art Kronach. It is conceived as a sales exhibition where artists from the region can present and offer their works to a broad audience. ARTkronach thus promotes artistic creation in Upper Franconia and creates a direct connection between artists and collectors.

ARTkronach has established itself over many years as a fixed cultural event; the 2026 edition is already the 43rd. The exhibition traditionally takes place around the Pentecost weekend, making it one of the cultural highlights of spring in the town of Kronach.
