AQUAnostra Water Festival — edition 2026
The AQUAnostra Water Festival 2026 will open its diverse venues from Saturday, June 6, to Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Bad Doberan and the Baltic Sea resort of Heiligendamm. The organizers are the Doberan associations, partners, and the city; the program is coordinated by the Bad Doberan-Heiligendamm Tourist Information.
The program includes concerts, exhibitions, films, theater, readings, guided tours, and hikes centered around the element of water – as a healing agent, natural resource, tourism factor, and artistic inspiration. The weekend also marks the start of the AQUAnostra Water Week (June 14–22, 2026) and often combines with the Monastery Market weekend on the grounds of the Doberan Minster.

Getting There
By train to Bad Doberan station (Rostock–Wismar line), in Heiligendamm connection via the narrow-gauge railway »Molli«. By car via the A20, exit Bad Doberan.

The AQUAnostra Water Festival is part of a multi-part water initiative in Bad Doberan and Heiligendamm.
