Advent Market with Patron Saint's Day

The Andreasmarkt Norf is a classic district Advent market, named after the patron saint's day of the parish church of St. Andreas. St. Andrew's Day (November 30th) marks the beginning of the Advent season and is traditionally a reason for local markets in the Catholic-influenced Rhineland. The Andreasmarkt Norf takes place on the weekend before or around St. Andrew's Day — in 2026 from November 27th to 29th.

Stalls, mulled wine stands, and live music are concentrated on the forecourt of the church and the adjacent streets. The Heimatverein Norf (local heritage association) operates its own mulled wine stand with the following opening hours: Friday 7–9 PM, Saturday 6–9 PM, Sunday 12–6 PM.

Advent Concerts and Arts and Crafts

Program highlights include Advent concerts in the parish church of St. Andreas — usually performed by local choirs and music groups — as well as stalls offering arts and crafts, Advent decorations, jewelry, and gift items. The market is designed as a family-oriented Advent kickoff for the district.
