On the first Advent weekend, the town center of Alzenau transforms into a festively decorated Christmas market with lovingly decorated stalls, a historic St. Nicholas carousel, and an oriental nativity scene in front of the town hall. Organized by the City of Alzenau, members of the Trade and Commerce Association (GHG) volunteer for a good cause – the traditional Christstollen raffle of the GHG Alzenau benefits the hospice and the social station.
