One of Germany's Largest Electronic Festivals
Since 2002, Airbeat One in Neustadt-Glewe has grown from a Mecklenburg open-air initiative into one of the largest electronic music festivals in Germany. For several days, over 200 international DJs and live acts perform on nine stages across the vast grounds of Neustadt-Glewe Airfield. The festival is known for its elaborate stage architecture, monumental main stage constructions with thematic staging, and nightly laser shows of continental scale.
Nine Stages for Every Style of Electronic Music
The festival features nine stages covering the entire spectrum of electronic music: the Mainstage with its grand EDM, Trance, and Big Room program, the Arena Stage for Techno, the Harder Stage for Hardstyle and Hardcore, The Face for Tech-House and Melodic House, the Groove Castle, the Second Stage / Indian Spirit for Psytrance, the Terminal Stage, the Butterfly Stage, and The Cube. The Mainstage alone attracts the biggest names in the EDM world to tens of thousands of visitors annually.
Annually Changing Country Theme
A special feature of Airbeat One is its annually changing theme, dedicated to a specific country or region. Entire stage decorations, main stage constructions, and festival grounds are adapted to the theme — with thousands of square meters of scenery, custom-designed decorative elements, and a cohesive thematic world. These productions are a hallmark of the festival, making each edition a visually distinct experience.
Camping, Living, Celebrating
Airbeat One is a camping festival in its purest form. Several camping areas — from Main Camping and Nord Camping to the comfortable Special Camping Lodge and VIP Camping — are spread around the festival grounds. Additionally, there are food courts, pools, chill areas, art installations, and a dedicated festival app with timetable and map.
Mecklenburg's Biggest Musical Magnet
With over 200,000 visitors, Airbeat One is by far the largest music festival in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and one of the region's most important tourist economic drivers. Neustadt-Glewe — usually a quiet small town in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district — becomes the center of the European EDM scene for several days in July. Its location between the metropolises of Berlin and Hamburg and direct access to the A 24 motorway make the festival easily accessible from across the country.
Airbeat One — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Airbeat One will be held from August 8 to 12, 2026, at Neustadt-Glewe Airfield, celebrating Dutch festival, DJ, and club culture under the theme 'Welkom in Nederland — The Home of Electronic Music'. For five days, the area will transform into a festival ground with nine stages, monumental main stage architecture, several camping areas, and a lineup bringing together the best of the international EDM, Techno, Hardstyle, Trance, and Psytrance scenes.
The Mainstage will feature artists such as Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Charlotte de Witte, Scooter, Timmy Trumpet, Vini Vici, and W&W. The Arena Stage will present Techno acts like Kobosil and i hate models, while the Harder Stage will host Hardstyle headliners including Angerfist, D-Block & S-te-Fan, Dr. Peacock, Ran-D, and Thyron. The Face will showcase artists like Kölsch, Meduza, Vintage Culture, and Innellea.

Getting There
By Train: ICE/IC to Ludwigslust, then take the festival shuttle bus to Neustadt-Glewe Airfield. By Car: via the A 24 (Berlin–Hamburg), exit Neustadt-Glewe.
Camping
Several camping areas from Main Camping to VIP Camping. The Special Camping Lodge offers pre-pitched tents for guests without their own equipment.
