Festival at Pütnitz Airfield

The About You Pangea Festival takes place annually in August on the former military airfield Pütnitz near Ribnitz-Damgarten. The spacious area on the Recknitz river, just a few kilometers from the Baltic Sea coast, provides room for a festival that consciously distinguishes itself from pure music festivals: under the motto 'Never Stop Playing', the organizers combine concerts with sports, creativity, and a shared experience.

Ten Stages, Over 100 Acts

Over four days, more than 100 artists perform on ten stages. The musical focus is on Hip-Hop, Indie Pop, and Electro. Past lineups have included names like Giant Rooks, BUNT., Filow, IKKIMEL, KAFFKIEZ, Souly, Kasi, and PA69 — a mix of established acts and emerging newcomers.

Sports, Workshops, and Festival Fashion

What makes Pangea special is its program beyond music: a skatepark, a BMX track, and a bouldering area invite participation. With 15 sports and more than 13,000 workshop spots, visitors can discover their athletic and creative sides. A creative market and a festival fashion world, where you can assemble and rent an outfit from thousands of clothing items, complement the offerings — combined with workshops and discussions on fashion and sustainability.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Vorpommern-Rügen

Pütnitz belongs to the town of Ribnitz-Damgarten in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. With a capacity of around 20,000 visitors and camping directly on-site, Pangea is one of the region's most significant summer events, attracting a young audience from all over Germany to the southern Baltic coast. The main sponsor is the Hamburg-based fashion company About You.
