Four Days of Festival with Tradition and Modernity
The program combines typical elements of Saxon club festivals: a vintage car meeting on Ascension Day, traditional bird shooting (Vogelschießen), a festive event, and finally, on Sunday, a display of historical firefighting technology with old fire pumps, helmets, and equipment. Local clubs, politicians, and the public come together for a multi-day celebration.

Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf is a municipality in the Mittelsachsen district (AGS 14522), state of Saxony, in the Erzgebirge foothills near Freiberg. The current municipality was formed in 2012 from the merger of the villages Oberbobritzsch, Niederbobritzsch, and Hilbersdorf. The Oberbobritzsch Volunteer Fire Brigade remains an identity-defining entity as an independent local association.

By car via the A4 (Siebenlehn exit) and then via Freiberg to Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf. By train to Freiberg, then by bus.

Ascension Day with the vintage car meeting attracts lovers of historical vehicles. Afterwards, you can use the following festival days to experience the traditions with the bird shooting (Vogelschießen) and technology display.
