Herrsching am Ammersee is celebrating its 1250th anniversary in 2026 with grand festival weeks. For two weeks, the Old Sports Field right by the lake will be transformed into a festival site with a large marquee: live music, cabaret, and party nights are on the program, from Django3000 and the Brettl-Spitzen to Wolfgang Krebs & Die Bayerischen Löwen. A unique anniversary festival that puts the history and festival culture of the Upper Bavarian Ammersee town in the spotlight.

The Herrsching Festival Weeks celebrating the 1250th anniversary will take place from June 7 to 21, 2026: two weeks of a marquee right on the Ammersee with live music, cabaret, and parties. The program includes DeSchoWieda, Django3000, Brettl-Spitzen, Roland Hefter, Wolfgang Krebs & Die Bayerischen Löwen, Leo Reisinger, and Dreisam-Live, among others.

From June 7 to 21, 2026, Herrsching am Ammersee will celebrate its 1250th anniversary with grand festival weeks. On the Old Sports Field directly by the lake, a large marquee will be the centerpiece of a packed program of live music, cabaret, and party nights.

The opening on June 7 will feature the Josef Menzl band with free admission. Subsequently, numerous well-known Bavarian acts and party bands will perform, complemented by a Youth Culture Club festival and a fashion show.

Getting There

Festival marquee on the Ammersee, Alter Sportplatz, 82211 Herrsching am Ammersee. Herrsching is the terminus of the S-Bahn line S8 from Munich (ideal for arriving without a car) and is also accessible via federal highways.

Tickets are available online and at Hörgeräte 5-Seenland (Mühlfelder Str. 44, Herrsching). Some program items (e.g., the opening with the Josef Menzl band on June 7) are free of charge.

With the Herrsching Festival Weeks 2026, the municipality of Herrsching am Ammersee is celebrating its 1250th anniversary. For over two weeks, a festival site with a large marquee will be created on the Old Sports Field directly on the Ammersee – the venue for a packed program of live music, cabaret, and party nights.

Music, Cabaret, Party in the Marquee

The lineup combines well-known Bavarian acts and party bands. Confirmed performers include DeSchoWieda (support act D'Aubachtaler), Django3000 (with Escape Silencio), the Brettl-Spitzen (with the Herrsching Brass Band), Roland Hefter (with Da Blechhauffa), Wolfgang Krebs & Die Bayerischen Löwen, Leo Reisinger + Leo's Live Band, Falschgeld, and the Oktoberfest-seasoned party band Dreisam-Live.

More Than Just Concerts

In addition to the marquee program, there are other events: a Youth Culture Club festival, a fashion show by the WIR association, a barn dance festival (Stadlfest), and a free opening event with the Josef Menzl band. This ensures the anniversary is embraced by the entire community.
