A Voluntary Institution
Behind the festival program are two years of preparation, sponsor acquisition, and logistics by the active members of the brigade. Such anniversary festivals in Bavaria are far more than just birthday celebrations – they are the most important social stage for village fire brigades and an occasion where neighboring brigades show their gratitude and solidarity in the parade.
