The parade of the Fellbacher Herbst
The Fellbacher Herbst celebrates its 77th edition from 9 to 12 October as a harvest and wine festival around the Schwabenlandhalle, the Guntram-Palm-Platz and the Rathaushof. Four days of festivities for up to 200,000 visitors from across the region.
On 10.10.2026 the parade through the centre of Fellbach starts at 2 p.m. More than 100 groups set off from the Rathaushof: costume clubs, brass bands, float groups, historic mounted squads, wine princesses and showmen. A jury judges the best groups and the most creative floats, and prizes are awarded afterwards.
The Weinsträßle runs from the Rathaushof to the Schwabenlandhalle, an avenue of stalls from Fellbach winegrowers, the Weingärtner eG cooperative and independent wine estates. The wine fountain hands out Fellbach wine by the hour.
On Sunday around 10 p.m., pyrotechnicians fire a music fireworks display from the roof of the Schwabenlandhalle. It lasts 15 minutes, set to a specially composed score. The festival tents keep going afterwards, and the town's shops open on Sunday afternoon for the late-opening Sunday.
Entry to the festival grounds is free, and on Saturday the festival runs from noon to 1 a.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. More than 20 food stalls serve Maultaschen and Käsespätzle, alongside rides and a Ferris wheel.
