The 5th Zelt-Kultur-Festival Schwandorf invites you for five days of music and cabaret on two stages from September 2nd to 6th, 2026. The theater stage in the Oberpfalzhalle and the covered tent stage offer a cross-generational program of rock, Schlager, Bavarian music, and cabaret. Highlights include the glam rock band The Sweet, the Nockis, a Udo Jürgens tribute, and regional cabaret artists.

Getting There
Schwandorf is located in the district of Schwandorf in the Oberpfalz. Arrive by car via the A 93 or A 6. Schwandorf is an important railway junction on the lines Regensburg–Hof and Nuremberg–Furth im Wald. The Oberpfalzhalle is accessible from the town center.

Tickets are available via Der-Kartenvorverkauf.de and NT-Ticket.de, as well as local ticket outlets. Prices vary depending on the event.
Start Times
Theater stage usually at 8 PM, tent stage at 7:30 PM; Frühschoppen (morning pint) on the final Sunday at 11 AM.

The Zelt-Kultur-Festival Schwandorf, or ZKF for short, has established itself as a prominent cultural event in the district town of Schwandorf in the Upper Palatinate district of the same name since its premiere in 2022. Over five days, it offers a diverse program of concerts and cabaret.

The festival utilizes two venues: the Theaterbühne in the Oberpfalzhalle, featuring seated events with rock, pop, and cabaret, and the covered outdoor Zeltbühne (tent stage) with cabaret, Bavarian music, rock, and oldies – partly seated, partly standing. This variety makes the ZKF a festival for a broad audience of all generations.
