Woltersdorf is located on the eastern outskirts of Berlin, nestled between Berlin's forests, the Flakensee lake, and the Märkische Schweiz. The municipality in the Oder-Spree district is known for its lock, the terminus of the historic lock tramway, and its location in a recreational landscape that many Berliners discover as a 'suburb with character'. The summer festival on the Maiwiese is the annual meeting point for the citizens and, at the same time, the largest public festival in the municipality.

Day of the Associations
