Second edition 2026 of the handicraft fair in the historic Nordwolle
After the successful spring edition on June 6 and 7, the Wolle Festival returns to com.media on November 14 and 15. The double edition is a clear sign of the growing popularity of the handicraft fair in Northern Germany and the close connection between the organizer and the audience.
The fact that the Wolle Festival takes place in the former Norddeutsche Wollkämmerei is more than just a nice detail. Nordwolle was once the largest wool combing mill in Europe and shaped Delmenhorst in the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, the industrial monument houses apartments, businesses, and cultural venues like com.media, where the fair is held.
Selected exhibitors present high-quality yarns made from natural fibers (wool, alpaca, silk, cotton, linen), tools for knitting and crochet projects, embroidery hoops, felting accessories, books with patterns, finished designs, and gift ideas.
As with the spring edition, workshops on knitting and crochet techniques, spinning demonstrations with a spinning wheel, and felting tutorials complement the program. A café in the event area invites you to take a break and chat.
The autumn dates, November 14 and 15, are ideally positioned: those who want to buy materials for cozy knitting afternoons in the coming Advent weeks or plan handmade gifts will find the right assortment here.
com.media is accessible. Children under 14 have free admission – making the fair suitable for families too. Parking is available on the Nordwolle premises.
The second edition in 2026 follows directly after the spring edition in June. The double edition demonstrates the success of the format and the close bond between the organizer and the audience.
Those looking for materials and inspiration for the Advent season will find a well-assorted selection in November and can also exchange ideas with other enthusiasts.
