Spring Wine Festival in the City Center

With its timing at the end of April to the beginning of May, the Wolfsburg Wine Festival perfectly captures the transition from spring to summer: the days get longer, the evenings milder, and urban city life flows back into public spaces. Hugo-Bork-Platz, as the central city square, offers the ideal backdrop for an elegant wine festival that combines enjoyment, encounters, and cultural atmosphere.

Weingut Dorst and Partner Wineries

The organizer is the established vintner Eric Dorst, together with partner wineries from several German wine-growing regions. Wines will be offered for tasting and sale at the stands, and also served by the glass for immediate enjoyment. The range is broad, from dry white and red wines to semi-dry and sweet variations, as well as Sekt and summery rosé wines.

Shopping Sunday

The highlight of the wine festival is the shopping Sunday on May 3, 2026, when the Designer Outlets Wolfsburg are open from 1 PM to 6 PM. This combination of a wine festival, shopping experience, and a stroll through the city center makes the last day of the festival a special excursion day that appeals not only to Wolfsburg residents but also to guests from Braunschweig, Gifhorn, Helmstedt, and the surrounding region.
