A Highlight of Harley & Wein

For over 25 years, the Mosel festival Harley & Wein in Ürzig has been one of the most famous gatherings for the Harley community in Germany. For several days, hundreds of bikers from all over Europe, Scandinavia, and North America gather on the Mosel between Ürzig and Erden for the festival with concerts, a custom show, lifestyle brands, and of course, Mosel wine. A fixed part of the program is the Wittlich excursion: Around 500 machines roll in a closed formation into Wittlich's city center.

Reception at the Market Square

The parade reaches Wittlich around noon. The machines are parked in the market square and adjacent streets, and the mayor officially welcomes the bikers in Wittlich's market square. The reception is more than symbolic: it brings the Harley community and the Wittlich population together for an afternoon. While the machines are presented in the square, bikers, Wittlich locals, and Mosel tourists mingle, all drawn by the spectacular nature of this event.

Custom Bikes and V-Twin Sound

Classic Harley-Davidson models, custom bikes, individual modifications, choppers, touring models, trikes, and special editions are on display. Many machines are elaborately painted, enhanced with leather accessories, or feature custom tank paint jobs from custom workshops. For lovers of motorcycle culture, the meet is a concentrated cross-section of the international scene; for families with children, it's a spectacular Saturday afternoon. Afterwards, the machines return to Ürzig, where the Harley & Wein festival continues into the evening.
