A Young Festival with Family DNA

Founded in 2023 by the South Tyrolean band Unantastbar together with the Magdeburg-based event team, the WIR LEBEN LAUT Festival has rapidly developed into a key meeting point for the German-speaking rock and metal scene. Three days over Pentecost, a campsite directly next to the Loburg festival grounds, Dixiland tickets for vehicle pitches — the concept combines a family atmosphere with an authentic festival program. "Endless energy and a large dose of family passion" — this is how the team itself describes its DNA.

Loburg, Between Magdeburg and Berlin

The venue is Loburg, a district of the town of Möckern in the Jerichower Land. The festival grounds are located on Triftweg on the outskirts — flat terrain, good access by car and camper van, with the A2 motorway nearby. With around 3,000 visitors expected for the 2025 edition, the festival is growing continuously; organizers anticipate significantly more guests in 2026. Pentecost weekend here means: arrival on Thursday or Friday, camping until Monday, band program from Friday to Sunday.

The 2026 Line-up

The headliner is Eisbrecher, one of the most successful German Neue Deutsche Härte bands. Also featured are Unantastbar (Festival Co-Founder), Pro-Pain from the USA, Torfrock with their rough-and-ready North German classic show, Serum114, and a long list of other German rock, punk, and metal bands — Schattenmann, Ost-Front, WILLKUER, Artefuckt, Eizbrand. The festival is specifically positioned as a mainstream-tested yet scene-rooted meeting point in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

Pentecost Means Season Start

For many festival-goers, WIR LEBEN LAUT is the official season opener — followed by Rockharz, Wacken, Hellfest. If you want to combine your first sip of beer with stage bass at the big summer festivals, this is the place to be. Camping is standard, Dixiland pitches for motorhomes can be booked separately, food and supply stands are located directly on the grounds.
