Seven variety shows in the Kulturetage Halle with aerial acrobatics, juggling, and comedy
The Winter Variety is one of the fixed pillars of Oldenburg's pre-Christmas cultural calendar. The Kulturetage Halle on Bahnhofstraße is transformed into a compact variety stage—with the classic elements of a variety show: acrobatics, juggling, magic, and comedy, presented in a dramaturgically designed program arc.
Seven performances are spread over five days:
Highlights of the variety tradition are the aerial acrobatics acts—on silks, trapeze, aerial hoop, or straps. The Kulturetage Halle offers the height and technical infrastructure required for these demanding disciplines.
Juggling in various forms—with balls, clubs, rings, diablos, or combined with dance and acrobatics—is another program focus. International and national jugglers shape the programs.
Comedic interludes connect the acrobatic acts. A conférence—the classic variety show hosting—guides through the evening and provides the humorous link.
The performances are explicitly family-friendly. Younger audiences can also follow the physical disciplines and the colorful program design. The matinees on Saturday and Sunday (3 PM) are particularly aimed at families.
Tickets are available via Reservix / Kulturetage, starting from approx. €32.70. The shows are regularly in high demand; booking in advance is recommended.
The 2026 edition continues the established variety tradition. The exact artist lineup will be published by Kulturetage in advance.
