February Market in Front of the Museum Barn

The Winter Market Schlossdomäne Wolmirstedt is not a Christmas market – it is explicitly a February market, a small, charming event at the end of winter, organized by the company Winchen Delikatessen. Over two days – Friday and Saturday – the area in front of the historic museum barn of the Schlossdomäne becomes a mulled wine meadow with stalls, fairy lights, and entertainment.

The assortment is manageable but well-chosen: mulled wine, children's punch, and winter dishes from the mobile kitchen, gift items and art from regional production, high-quality wooden decorations. A craft stand for children is included, as well as the cozy campfire atmosphere.

The musical highlight: live music from 6 PM, on Saturday evening the duo "Handgemacht" performs – acoustic pop and rock covers, a deliberately small stage format that fits the atmosphere. Free admission, consumption costs at the stalls.

The Schlossdomäne Wolmirstedt is a historic four-sided farmstead, housing the former castle and its outbuildings. Today, it is home to the Museum of the City of Wolmirstedt and the City/Local History Archive. The complex is centrally located, directly in the town center. Wolmirstedt itself is a town in the Börde district, about 15 kilometers north of Magdeburg, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
