Lower Saxony State Youth Jazz Orchestra
The Lower Saxony State Youth Jazz Orchestra, or LJJO for short, is the statewide selection big band for young jazz musicians. Under the label „Wind Machine,” talented players aged approximately 16 to 25 have been brought together for decades through a multi-stage selection process and prepared for joint tours during intensive rehearsal periods. The ensemble maintains a diverse repertoire, from classic big band arrangements and contemporary original compositions to experimental crossover projects.
