Gräbendorfer See — Lusatian Post-Mining Landscape
The Gräbendorfer See is a lake created by the reclamation of open-cast mines in the Spree-Neiße district, about 25 km west of Cottbus, in the municipality of Drebkau. Like many lakes in Lusatia, it is the result of flooding former lignite mines — part of a landscape transformation that has created a new natural landscape in recent decades. It is precisely here, at the festival grounds Göritz 5, that the Wilde Möhre Festival has been held for years.
13 Years of Wilde Möhre — 2026 the Last Original Year
Wilde Möhre was founded in 2013 and has since become one of the most important electronic festivals in East Germany. The concept: electronic music (Techno, House, Live Electronics, Ambient), combined with a festival lifestyle that focuses on ecological responsibility, vegan catering, workshops, and community orientation. 2026 marks the 13th and final original edition before a reorientation — the crew announces they will be "firing on all cylinders" one last time.
Line-up 2026 — Top Names in the Electronic Scene
Confirmed acts (as of May 2026) include:
- Dominik Eulberg (Cocoon Recordings, one of Germany's best-known techno producers, also a naturalist and ornithologist)
- Pascale Voltaire
- Annie O
- Alyne
- maniaclina
- Young Lychee
Further acts will be continuously added on wildemoehrefestival.de. The program includes several stages, from Techno floors to Ambient areas.
More Than a Music Festival — Ecological Lifestyle Format
Wilde Möhre differs from commercial large festivals through a consistent cashless concept (card payments only), vegan catering without meat, ecological camping (waste separation, reuse, awareness team), workshops (permaculture, collective practices, creative work), yoga, and sauna. Pre-pitched tents can be booked, children under 13 are free, solidarity tickets for students and trainees are available.
Getting There — Consciously Public Transport Oriented
The festival consciously organizes arrival and departure via train connections: by train to Calau, from there shuttle buses to the grounds. Car travel is possible, but the festival actively promotes the more sustainable train option. Tickets via tickets.infield.live.
