Germany's Largest Small-Sided Football Tournament + 2-Night Festival — July 2nd to 5th, 2026
Wendland Beats is a unique festival concept: the combination of Germany's largest small-sided football tournament and a two-night music festival. From Thursday, July 2nd, to Sunday, July 5th, 2026, the grounds at Industriestraße 3, 29499 Zernien will transform into a multi-event space with a sports arena, stages, and camping.
The sporting core: 72 teams in the men's, women's, mixed, and over-35 categories will compete in a high-class small-sided football tournament over the festival days. This makes the Zernien small-sided tournament the largest of its kind in Germany — a true sporting institution in the Wendland region.
Parallel to the sports: two full festival nights with a top-class lineup.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, July 2nd, with the Opening Party. On Sunday, July 5th, the weekend concludes with the final matches and a relaxed festival brunch.
The festival offers several options:
Wendland Beats is a festival that brings generations together: from the over-35 athlete to the teenage festival-goer at the EDM Night. The combination of sports, party, and the rural Wendland atmosphere makes it unique in the North German festival landscape.
