Wine Festival in the Castle Courtyard

The Weinfest Schloss Aschach takes place annually in July in the castle complex of the Schloss Aschach Museums – in Aschach, a district of the spa town of Bad Bocklet in the state of Bavaria, in the Bad Kissingen district of Lower Franconia. The historic castle courtyard offers a romantic setting for a festival that combines Franconian wine culture with museum ambiance.

Franconian Wine and Culinary Delights

On two evenings, from approximately 7 PM to 11 PM each, Franconian wines from the region will be served, accompanied by culinary delicacies. The wine festival is part of the diverse wine festivals of the Rhön-Grabfeld region and invites you to linger in the summer castle courtyard.

Cooperation with MAINPOP

A special feature is the collaboration with the emerging artist platform MAINPOP: On Saturday evening, the Schloss Aschach Museums, together with MAINPOP, will present four up-and-coming bands from Lower Franconia. Thus, the festival combines wine culture with the promotion of young musicians from the region.

The Schloss Aschach Museums house three museums under one roof – the Graf Luxburg Museum, the School Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum – in a historic castle complex belonging to the district of Lower Franconia. For two evenings, the wine festival turns this cultural site into the venue for a lively summer celebration.
