Wine and Winterhude

When the Goldbekhaus opens its doors at Moorfuhrtweg 9 in mid-June, one of Hamburg's most pleasant summer wine festivals begins. Three days of wine festival in the courtyard of the Goldbekhaus community cultural center — with the clear aim of making high-quality wines from German and European growing regions accessible without a typical festival-ground atmosphere.

Cooperation of Three Hamburg Wine Players

The event is organized by three Hamburg wine and culture players: Goldbekhaus as the community cultural center, hejnorden (wine merchant focusing on characterful, often nature-oriented wines), and Rindchen's Weinkontor (established North German wine merchant). This constellation shapes the profile: both classic and experimental wineries are represented.

Program

On the festival lawn in the courtyard: winemakers from Germany (Rheinhessen, Mosel, Pfalz, Baden, Württemberg) and other European growing regions. Plus free masterclasses on all three days with wine tastings (registration on-site on the respective day). Live music: DJs and singer-songwriters alternating. Gastronomy from delicacies to street food — diverse and high-quality.

Goldbekhaus and Winterhude

Since the 1980s, Goldbekhaus has been the most important community cultural center in Hamburg's Winterhude district — Hamburg-Nord borough. Concerts, theater, community work. The inner courtyard offers an intimate, urban backdrop for the wine festival — far from a typical Volksfest character.
