A Neighborhood Market with Character

While Hamburg's city center glitters in Roncalli tones during Advent, a much quieter market is taking place in the Eimsbüttel district: the Christmas Market at Apostelkirche. The location is the small square directly at the entrance of Apostelkirche, easily accessible on foot from the U-Bahn stations Osterstraße, Lutterothstraße, and Emilienstraße (all U2, approx. 5–10 minutes each).

Culinary Delights

The focus is on winegrower's mulled wine from the Pfalz region, complemented by warm dishes: Breton galettes and crêpes, vegetarian baked potatoes, bratwurst, vegan options, and waffles. The selection is manageable, but carefully curated – not a stacked program of industrial mulled wine stalls.

Program for Families

Throughout the market period, various children's and family programs will take place, supplemented by choir concerts in mid-December in Apostelkirche itself. The market is often used as a meeting point for Eimsbüttel residents.
