Weihnachtsmarkt am Alexanderplatz

As every year, a dense row of stalls offering mulled wine, Thuringian bratwurst, roasted almonds, hats, hand-blown glass vases, and Christmas gifts surrounds the approximately 20-meter-high Ore Mountains Christmas pyramid. Carousels, a Ferris wheel, a roller skating rink, an ice rink, and the pyramid café on the top floor complete the program.

The centerpiece: the Ore Mountains pyramid

Open between the years too

The market at Alexanderplatz is one of the few Berlin Advent markets that remain open in the days between Christmas and New Year (December 27 to early January) — details are published annually by the organizer.

Admission and opening hours

Free admission. Open November 23 to December 26, 2026, daily 11 AM–10 PM. Food and drinks at the stalls payable by cash and card. Carousels and ice rink require tickets per use.
