Waxweiler Sportfest

The Waxweiler Sportfest is the annual sports and festival event of SV Waxweiler, the local sports club in the Eifel community of Waxweiler in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm. Over three days on the last weekend of July, the sports ground transforms into a festival arena for sports enthusiasts, club members, and residents of the community.

SV Waxweiler is the central sports club of the municipality of Waxweiler. With a focus on football and recreational sports, it shapes the sporting life of the community and is involved in youth work, senior sports, and contributing to the village community.

Three Days of Festivities

The 2026 sports festival runs for three days and combines sporting events with festival activities. Classic components include:

Festival Grounds

The venue is the sports ground of SV Waxweiler, which is transformed into a complete festival area with a marquee, catering stand, and stage. The sports ground's location outside the residential area allows for festival activities in the evening hours without noise pollution.
