Summer Atmosphere at Vörder See

The city of Bremervörde invites you to open-air concerts at the SeeLounge on Vörder See on three Thursday evenings during the summer of 2026 with the VörderFeierAbend. The concerts start at 6:00 PM each evening and take advantage of the romantic setting of the town lake, the play of light from the setting sun, and the relaxed summer atmosphere of North German evenings.

2026 Programme

Three Thursday evenings are scheduled for 2026:

• Thursday, May 28, 2026 — MacPiet (regional cover band with catchy pop repertoire)
• Thursday, June 25, 2026 — FAST AM MEER (Country & Folk with a North German flair)
• Thursday, July 30, 2026 — MIU (regional band with their own sound)

Free Admission for All

A key element of the VörderFeierAbend is its open accessibility. Admission is free, allowing families, seniors, students, and tourists to participate in the programme equally. Even spontaneous visitors strolling by Vörder See are drawn in by the concert sound and can join in.

Catering and Atmosphere

The SeeLounge offers a simple gastronomic selection: beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, snacks, and small dishes. The tables and chairs directly by the water invite you to linger while the band plays on stage. The family-friendly atmosphere and regional touch make the concerts a special experience.

A Concert Concept from Bremervörde

The series was initiated by Jenny Prinz-Claußen on behalf of the city of Bremervörde. The idea: a low-threshold, free offering that strengthens the social life of the city while promoting regional musicians. The sponsor is Volksbank eG, which makes the concert series financially possible.
