Twenty Years of Visbek Rockt

Visbek Rockt was founded in 2006 by music-loving association members who wanted to create a professional platform for heavy guitar music in the Visbek municipality, Vechta district. What began as a small village open-air event is now one of the region's most renowned association festivals, featuring international bookings, professional technical equipment, and a dedicated community. The 2026 anniversary edition celebrates two decades of volunteer commitment.

Headliner Emil BULLS

The Munich band Emil BULLS has been a staple in the German hardcore, metal, and crossover scene since the mid-1990s. Hits like “Worlds Apart,” “Six Feet Underground,” or “The Most Evil Spell” are standard festival fare, delivering pyro, pogo, and rousing sing-alongs live. Their headliner show at Visbek Rockt will be the musical highlight of the anniversary year.

Two Days, Two Programs

Friday is designed as a warm-up evening, offering a stage to four bands from the Punk, Hardcore, and Indie genres to kick off the festival in a relaxed atmosphere. Saturday is the main festival day, featuring eighteen bands alternating on stage, covering a broad spectrum of heavy guitar music—from melodic punk and indie rock to stoner, modern metal, and hardcore.

Association Festival with Character

Unlike purely commercial festivals, Visbek Rockt thrives on the dedication of its volunteer crew. Setup, security, bar, catering, stage management—all areas are organized by association members and friends of the festival. This personal atmosphere is appreciated by both bands and the roughly one thousand visitors who make the festival an annual family reunion for the North German underground scene.
