The Big Summer Festival for the Rock Scene in NRW

Since the early 2000s, the Vainstream Rockfest has been one of the most important festivals for Rock, Punk, Hardcore, and Metal in Germany. The venue is the industrial complex Am Hawerkamp in Münster — an urban cultural area of old industrial halls that becomes a gathering point for the German and international genre scene for two days every summer. June 26 and 27, 2026 mark the next edition — and all ticket categories, as in previous years, are already completely sold out.

The 2026 Lineup — Five Major Headliners

Vainstream 2026 brings together five of the most influential acts on the international scene for one weekend:

• All Time Low (USA) — Pop-punk pioneer band from Maryland, new songs and classics
• Rise Against (USA) — Political punk legends from Chicago, a live powerhouse
• Hollywood Undead (USA) — Rap-rock hybrid with masked identities
• Black Veil Brides (USA) — Glam metal comeback band, Andy Black & Co.
• Architects (GB) — Metalcore world champions from Brighton

In addition, there will be numerous other bands from the hardcore, metalcore, punk, and crossover genres — the festival organizers have curated the program with great care for years, mixing established names with emerging acts.

The Location — Am Hawerkamp

The Am Hawerkamp grounds in Münster's Hafen-Mauritz district are a unique urban industrial area: old warehouses, brick walls, asphalt surfaces, along with open-air stages and several halls for parallel programs. During Vainstream, Münster truly lives in black and plaid — the city, with its famous student population, opens itself to a completely different subculture for this weekend.
