About TUNIX Open Air

The TUNIX Open Air is the traditional student open-air festival at Munich's Königsplatz, organized by the Student Representation of the Technical University of Munich. For over four decades, the beer garden next to the Glyptothek has transformed for several days into a relaxed festival meeting point in the middle of the city – with live music on stage, well-poured beer, food, and lots of sun. Under the motto »by students for students«, the volunteer team puts together a lineup of selected bands that creates the right atmosphere in the beer garden. Admission is free, and the festival is supported by the commitment of numerous student helpers. A piece of Munich's student culture under the open sky – open to all.
