In the middle of the summer break, the Turn- und Sportverein 1897 Grafenrheinfeld opens its 25,000 square meter club grounds at Hermasweg for the entire market community on a June weekend. The TSV Sommerfest combines sports tournaments and hands-on activities from the nine departments – from football and Korbball to karate, volleyball, and children's gymnastics – with hearty catering, live music, and a family program. Located between Schweinfurt and Würzburg, Grafenrheinfeld is a meeting point for club members, neighbors, and friends from the entire district on this weekend.

On the weekend of June 26 and 27, 2026, the Turn- und Sportverein 1897 Grafenrheinfeld invites you to its annual summer festival at the club grounds at Hermasweg. The program includes sports tournaments and demonstrations by the nine departments – football, Korbball, volleyball, badminton, basketball, children's gymnastics, tennis, karate, and fitness – catering in the festival tent, and family activities for the market community in the Schweinfurt district.

The 2026 Summer Festival is announced as a two-day sports and club festival and is listed in the official event calendar of the Grafenrheinfeld municipality. On the 25,000 m² club grounds at Hermasweg, the nine departments of the TSV will organize tournaments, exhibition matches, and hands-on activities. In the festival tent, helpers from the departments will provide catering with regional specialties, and a musical supporting program will take place on stage in the evening. Admission is free.

Getting There

Grafenrheinfeld is located in the district of Schweinfurt on the Main river, south of Schweinfurt. It is reachable in a few minutes via the A70 (Schweinfurt/Werneck exit) or the B26. The club grounds at Hermasweg are located on the southern outskirts with ample parking.

Admission

Admission to the summer festival is free. Food and drinks are offered on-site at usual club prices.

Tip

On Saturday afternoon, most of the hands-on stations and tournaments are running simultaneously – a good time to get a taste of all the club's departments.

With over 800 members in nine departments and a modern sports center at Hermasweg, the club is one of the most important social pillars of the market community. The annual summer festival is its biggest event and serves as an open house for the entire population.

Various tournaments and exhibition matches will be held on the club grounds over the weekend: football for youth and hobby teams, Korbball – that typically German team sport in which the TSV women are regularly represented in the Bundesliga – volleyball, badminton, and karate demonstrations. In parallel, there will be hands-on activities for children, from parent-child groups to children's gymnastics.

Catering and Sociability

Helpers from the departments will provide catering in the festival tent and on the terrace. The menu includes grilled sausages, homemade salads, coffee and cake, as well as regional beers.
