Europe's largest event at the intersection of psychedelic science, wellness, and festival culture
TRYP Expo Berlin is Europe's largest event at the intersection of psychedelic science, mental health, wellness, longevity, and "Human Flourishing". The term sounds like American Silicon Valley slang — and that's intentional: the psychedelic renaissance originates from the American West Coast context and has also gained a foothold in Europe in recent years, with medical psilocybin research in the UK and Germany, clinical trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, and a growing market for microdosing communities.
Funkhaus Berlin is one of the capital's most unusual event venues — the former GDR broadcasting house, built in 1951–1956 by architect Franz Ehrlich, on a 145,000 m² site on Nalepastraße in Oberschöneweide. Huge acoustic halls (Hall 1, 80 m long, is considered one of Europe's best-sounding recording halls), studios, foyers, outdoor areas — all rooms with the heavy GDR industrial charm of the 1950s. TRYP has been using Funkhaus as its main venue since 2024.
The program combines scientific lectures (psychedelics in psychotherapy, microdosing, longevity, neurosciences), wellness workshops (breathwork, sound healing, meditation, yoga, cold exposure), an exhibitor area (wellness tech, biohacking, conscious brands), and an evening festival program with live music, cultural experiences, and immersive performances over several nights. The festival's website explicitly highlights the hybrid nature of the event.
From May 15 to 17, 2026, Funkhaus Berlin will open its vast spaces for TRYP Expo — Europe's largest event at the intersection of psychedelic science, mental health, wellness, longevity, and "Human Flourishing". 150+ exhibitors will present psychedelic research, wellness technology, and conscious brands; 80+ speakers will deliver talks on science, medicine, politics, and culture; 45+ workshops will cover breathwork, sound healing, and meditation; a 350 m² wellness and biohacking area; and evening festival programs with live music and immersive performances. Around 15,000 visitors are expected over the three days.
