Summer Evenings in the City Center

When the sun slowly sets and the temperatures are pleasant, Stadthagen's city center transforms into an open-air lounge on four Thursdays in high summer. The Stadthagen City Marketing Association organizes the Sundowner Series as a community meeting point where citizens, business people, and guests from the region can meet, enjoy the summer atmosphere, and celebrate the evening together.

Four Dates in 2026

In 2026, the series includes the following Thursdays: July 9, July 16, August 6, and August 20, each from 7 PM to 11 PM. The dates are chosen to coincide with the summer holidays in Lower Saxony, aiming to reach as many locals and day-trippers as possible. Each Sundowner stands on its own, so a single visit constitutes a complete evening event.

Music and Gastronomy

Various bands from the Schaumburg region and beyond perform on the four dates, providing the perfect soundtrack for the summer evening. The musical spectrum ranges from acoustic sets to rock and pop, and cover bands playing classic dance hits, depending on the band. The city center's gastronomy complements the offering with food, drinks, and cocktails served at standing tables and outdoor seating.

Meeting Point in the Schaumburg Region

The Sundowner Series has become an integral part of the Stadthagen summer, contributing to the revitalization of the city center during the evening hours. Free admission, everyone is welcome.
