Summertime@NORDERNEY has been one of the most attended summer open-air events on the East Frisian Islands for years. The venue is the spacious Nordstrand overlooking the open North Sea – arguably one of Germany's most spectacular concert backdrops. Each evening, a different headliner takes the central stage, and the audience experiences live music in a mix of festival lounge and beach party.
The 2026 Lineup
The 2026 edition brings together five top-class acts:
- Wed 29.07.: Robin Schulz – one of Germany's best-known electro DJs and producers (“Sugar”, “Prayer in C”, “Show Me Love”)
- Thu 30.07.: ClockClock – German pop-electro band with hits like “Sad ABCs”
- Fri 31.07. + Sat 01.08.: Sarah Connor (two shows!) – Germany's most successful pop/soul singer of the last two decades
- Sun 02.08.: DJ Ötzi with band – Schlager and après-ski star in a live band format
Beach as a Stage
The stage is positioned so that the open North Sea and the sunset become part of the concert experience. Standing fans dance directly on the sand, while lounge and picnic areas are set up behind the front rows for families and older concertgoers. An atmosphere that can be experienced in this form in very few places in Germany.
A Must-Attend Event of the Island Season
Anyone traveling to Norderney in early August plans their chosen concert into their stay. Tickets are available via norderney.de and the Touristinfo. The two Sarah Connor evenings tend to sell out quickly – early booking recommended.
