Festival of Arts in the Industrial Hall
The Studio am See is a festival of the arts in Neubrandenburg, held in a special location: an old industrial hall directly on the Tollensesee. In this raw, atmospheric setting, live music, visual arts, live painting, and other artistic contributions come together. The festival has been organized by Studio e.V. since 2021, deliberately keeping a manageable size — up to 600 guests ensure intimate concert evenings.
Music for Everyone
The festival sees itself as "good music for everyone" and is divided into different formats over the festival days: Teen Disco, Electronic Night, Children's Concert, and Concert Night. This allows Studio am See to appeal to a broad audience — from families to indie and electronic music fans. Previous editions have featured bands and artists such as SIND, Die höchste Eisenbahn, Selig, Die Sterne, Bilbao, RAZZ, Nils Frevert & Band, Hundreds, and Mia.
Regionally Rooted
Studio e.V. emphasizes the integration of regional artistic contributions — the festival also serves as a showcase for the cultural scene of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The association also organizes the Fête de la Musique in Neubrandenburg at the start of summer.
Neubrandenburg on the Tollensesee
Neubrandenburg is located in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The Tollensesee, on whose banks the festival takes place, is one of the largest lakes in the region and shapes the cityscape of the "City of Four Gates" (Vier-Tore-Stadt).
