Vinothek on Tour – Koblenz-Horchheim

Vinothek on Tour – Koblenz-Horchheim is one of the most charming stops of the mobile pop-up wine bar of the Koblenz Wine Festival. It takes place in Mendelssohn Park, one of the city's most beautiful parks in the eastern district of Horchheim.

Mendelssohn Park

Mendelssohn Park is named after the Mendelssohn family, who owned an estate in Horchheim in the 19th century. The park is a green oasis with old trees, meadows, and a slightly elevated position offering views of the Rhine Valley.

Concept

For two evenings in June, the park transforms into a relaxed open-air wine bar. Ten selected festival wines—a cross-section of the Mosel, Mittelrhein, Ahr, and Rheinhessen wine regions—will be served. Local musicians provide the musical accompaniment. The picnic atmosphere with lounge furniture, blankets, and seating invites you to linger.

Glas-Koblenz

Instead of plastic cups, the wines are served in special 'Glas-Koblenz' glasses made for the Wine Festival (5 Euro deposit). The glass can be taken home as a souvenir.
