Eat – Drink – Dance on Laurentiusplatz
When Laurentiusplatz in the Elberfeld district of Wuppertal becomes an open-air enjoyment festival at the end of August, the Street Food & Music Festival Wuppertal is here. The format has been established for years — three days of street food trucks, a central DJ stage, free admission. The organizer is JUST Festivals Event Media GmbH from Dortmund, which operates the format at several locations in NRW and beyond.

- Late Evening: Festival tone remains relaxed, no classic club mode — festival character takes precedence over club atmosphere
Laurentiusplatz and Wuppertal
Laurentiusplatz in the historic Elberfeld district is one of Wuppertal's most atmospheric squares — surrounded by Wilhelminian-era buildings, with St. Laurentius Church as its landmark. Wuppertal is located in the Bergisches Land region of North Rhine-Westphalia and is known nationwide for its suspension railway and its vibrant cultural scene (Pina Bausch, Engels House). The Street Food Festival fits well into the urban self-image: festival as urban space activation.
