Friedensplatz in Dortmund-Mitte has been one of the city's established festival venues for years – central, easy to reach, well-connected, with a size that easily accommodates medium-sized festivals. When the food trucks begin setting up on Thursday afternoon, the square is transformed within a day: power cables are laid, truck generators are running, standing tables are unpacked, the stage is assembled. By Friday afternoon, the festival is ready.

The festival motto is more than a slogan: after the street food lunch, the DJ sets begin in the afternoon, and from dusk, the energy and beats rise. Three DJ booths are spread across the square, with style changes from chill vibes in the afternoon to House and Chart beats in the evening. Those who come in the evening will find a real festival atmosphere with dance floors, cocktail stands, and light effects.

Three Days of Free Entry

The festival is completely free to enter. Those who don't eat or drink can still visit the square, listen to the stage, and soak up the festival feeling. Those who indulge pay the individual price at the truck – food truck portions typically range between €8 and €14, cocktails between €7 and €11. A deposit for cups (typically €2) is standard.
