Over more than three decades, the Sticky Fingers Festival has established itself as a fixture in the Bavarian underground scene. It takes place in the Weidersberg recreational area near Brand, a municipality in the Wunsiedel district of the Fichtelgebirge in Upper Franconia. Its location amidst nature shapes the festival's unique, down-to-earth character.

Non-commercial and Volunteer-run

The festival is supported by Sticky-Fingers e.V., which organizes the event on a voluntary and non-commercial basis. This approach ensures fair prices, a family atmosphere, and a close bond between the audience, bands, and organizers – a counterpoint to large commercial festivals.

Metal, Hardcore, and Punk

Musically, Sticky Fingers covers a broad spectrum of Metal, Hardcore, and Punk. Both established scene headliners and emerging bands perform on stage. For the 2026 edition, Stick To Your Guns and Tankard are among the announced headliners, complemented by bands such as Deez Nuts, Slime, Booze & Glory, Milking The Goatmachine, and Parasite Inc.

Family-Friendly Size

With around 2,500 visitors, the festival remains manageable. This deliberate limit preserves the intimate atmosphere that has made Sticky Fingers a hidden gem for lovers of heavy music over the years.
