Pop and Rock on the Baltic Sea Beach

Stars am Strand is the most important open-air concert series on the Baltic Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein. The venue is the Musik-Arena am Strand (Music Arena on the Beach) in Timmendorfer Strand – a temporary open-air stage in the Strandpark (Beach Park) directly on the Baltic Sea sand in the Ostholstein district. Up to 6,000 spectators per concert evening enjoy live music with a sea view here.

2026 Anniversary: Two Weekends, Sixteen Acts

In 2026, Stars am Strand celebrates its tenth anniversary. The anniversary edition is therefore divided into two consecutive weekends in September: a "Special Edition" from September 3rd to 6th and an anniversary edition from September 10th to 13th. Artists from Schlager, Pop, Hip-Hop, Comedy, and EDM will be on stage – including Andrea Berg, Robin Schulz, Jan Delay, Die Prinzen, and Wincent Weiss.

Beach Scenery and Festival Atmosphere

What makes Stars am Strand a special experience is not only the lineup but also the setting: The Music Arena is set up directly on the beach, allowing you to enjoy the sunset over the Baltic Sea between concerts. Beach chairs are available in the VIP area, while classic standing spots fill the front of the arena.

Organizers and Partners

The organizer is Timmendorfer Strand Niendorf Tourismus GmbH in cooperation with Nautic Club Timmendorfer Strand. In 2025, the festival attracted around 28,500 visitors over four concert evenings with stars like Sarah Connor, Samu Haber, LEA, and Montez – proof that Timmendorfer Strand has become one of the central open-air dates in Schleswig-Holstein with this series.
