The Lautrer Stadtgarde
The Stadtgarde Kaiserslautern is a traditional carnival club with a strong focus on its guard units. Guard clubs in the Palatinate and German carnival in general cultivate a special form of carnival culture that presents the carnival tradition in a particularly elegant and aesthetic manner, with historical uniforms, military-inspired processions, and choreographic dance formations. The Stadtgarde Kaiserslautern combines this guard tradition with the Lautrer carnival scene and is part of numerous events.
Kammgarn Casino as the Venue
The choice of the Kammgarn Casino as the venue lends the gala a special, sophisticated character. The casino is part of the Kammgarn complex, a former spinning mill that now houses the most important independent cultural venue in the West Palatinate.
