Anniversary Stadtfest for the 25th anniversary around the Michaeliskirche in Ronnenberg
When a Stadtfest turns 25, it's more than just an anniversary — it's a success story of volunteering. The Stadtfest Ronnenberg, supported by the association Stafero e.V., was launched in 2001 and has since become an identity-forming event for the town of Ronnenberg. For over a quarter of a century, hundreds of volunteers have helped build, shape, and develop the festival. 2026 is the anniversary year — with a three-day Stadtfest, an accompanying exhibition, and a festive anniversary ball.
Few festival locations in the Hannover region have a comparable atmospheric backdrop to the church hill around the Michaeliskirche in Ronnenberg. The historic church, the elevated location, and the open square design create a unique setting for a Stadtfest. Stages are set up in front of the church, stalls line the adjacent paths, culinary offerings utilize the flat areas, and families find space on the meadow. This natural festival architecture makes the Stadtfest Ronnenberg a particularly atmospheric experience.
The 2026 program builds on the proven mix of previous years, enhanced with anniversary elements. Live music on several stages — cover bands, singer-songwriters, dance bands — provides a packed stage program over three days. Gastronomic stalls offer regional specialties and culinary diversity. Association stands and arts and crafts invite browsing, while a family program with interactive stations, children's games, and a children's stage caters to the youngest visitors. Special anniversary program points commemorate the 25-year history of the festival.
Unlike a regular Stadtfest, the 2026 anniversary is conceived as a longer period. Starting May 9, an anniversary exhibition documenting the festival's history with photos, posters, memorabilia, and interviews will be held in the community center. The actual Stadtfest on the third weekend of June forms the highlight. The festive conclusion is on November 21 with a grand anniversary ball — an opportunity for the organizers and supporters of the festival to round off the year together.
From June 19 to 21, 2026, Stafero e.V. celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Stadtfest Ronnenberg. Three days of festival feature live music, gastronomy, market stalls, and family activities on the church hill.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by Stafero e.V. in spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years, supplemented by anniversary elements:
Stafero will publish updates on stadtfest-ronnenberg.de.
