Three Days of Town Festival in the Börde
Oschersleben (Bode) is a small town in the Börde district with around 19,000 inhabitants, nestled in the fertile Magdeburger Börde. The town is known for its Motorsport Arena Oschersleben — an international race track. But in June, the town belongs to a different format: the traditional Stadtfest (town festival), which will take place from June 19th to 21st, 2026, in the town center and the festival grounds Am Hackelberg.
The concept is classically small-town and all the more charming for it: a Rummelplatz (funfair) with rides, a Streetfood Mile with international and regional cuisine, and of course, the central stage with live bands, DJs, and regional artists. Free admission, families explicitly welcome, Sunday Frühschoppen (morning pint) with bratwurst and beer included.
District of Börde and the Bördeland
The Börde district in the state of Saxony-Anhalt extends west of Magdeburg across the Magdeburger Börde — one of Germany's most fertile agricultural areas. Oschersleben is one of the larger towns in the district (alongside Haldensleben, Wolmirstedt, and Wanzleben-Börde). The Stadtfest is one of the most important social summer events — a format that cultivates regional identity while attracting tourists from the Magdeburg region.

Classic three-day format: Friday and Saturday with bands and DJs late into the evening, Sunday morning with the Frühschoppen — this is the town festival as the Magdeburger Börde knows it. The central stage at Hackelberg bundles the program, surrounded by funfair rides and street food stalls offering dishes from around the world.

Oschersleben is reachable by train from Magdeburg in 30 minutes. From the train station to the festival grounds Am Hackelberg is about a 15-minute walk.
