A District with its Own City Festival

Neubeckum is a district of the city of Beckum in the Warendorf district, east of the A2 motorway between Münster and Bielefeld. With around 8,000 inhabitants, the district is significantly smaller than Beckum's core city, but it has its own distinct club life – and its own city festival. The Stadtfest Neubeckum is one of the largest festivals in the Münsterland region and attracts an audience from the entire Warendorf district every year.

When and Where is the Festival?

The Stadtfest Neubeckum 2026 runs from Friday, June 5th to Sunday, June 7th, 2026, in Neubeckum's city center. The attached funfair starts on Thursday, June 4th, 2026 (Corpus Christi) and continues until the end of the city festival. This means the program spans four festival days.

Organization

The city festival is organized by Stadtmarketing Beckum and the association Verve Neubeckum. Stadtmarketing handles the stage and program planning, while Verve organizes community participation – calls for donations for cakes, club stalls, and volunteer engagement. The result: a city festival that feels like a classic village festival but with city center infrastructure.

Beckum and Neubeckum in the Warendorf District

Beckum, with its districts (Beckum, Neubeckum, Roland, Vellern), has a total population of around 37,000 and is located in the southern Münsterland region, on Federal Highway 475 between Münster and Hamm. The region is predominantly agricultural, with cement and lime industries as historical economic focal points. The Stadtfest Neubeckum is the most important event of the year in this district.
